INTRODUCTION:

Dekart Secrets Keeper is a security solution, which enables you to encrypt 
and decrypt files so they are secure and inaccessible by anyone who is not 
authorized to view them, and can only be accessed by entering the correct 
password; without the password the file is completely unreadable. 

The password can be stored on a hardware Key (Smart Card or USB Token), 
which then makes your files even more secure. Dekart Secrets Keeper allows you
to generate random passwords and store them on the Key, thereby enhancing
the level of security.

Secrets Keeper is very easy to use and is installed within minutes. 
All it takes is a single mouse click to encrypt and decrypt files directly 
from Windows Explorer, or from your Microsoft Office environment. 
Dekart Secrets Keeper keeps information safe and secure, without slowing down,
or affecting your computers performance in any way .


SECRETS KEEPER FUNCTIONS:

FILE
  "Encrypt File(s)" - enables you to encrypt a file (to .skf) using a password 
                      or Key (Smartcard or USB key).
  "Decrypt File(s)" - enables you to encrypt a file (from .skf) using a password 
                      or Key (Smartcard or USB key).
  "Exit" - exit from the application.

KEY
  "Password" - enables you to create and write a password to the Key 
               (Smartcard or USB key).
  "PIN code" - enables you to change a User's access code to the Key 
               (Smartcard or USB key).
  "Unblock Key" - enables you to unblock the Key (Smartcard or USB key)
                  if the Key is blocked.

OPTIONS
  Activate / deactivate integration with the Windows Explorer.
  Activate / deactivate Key (Smartcard or USB key) usage.

HELP
  "Read me" - displays this file.
  "About" - displays information about the program and registration information.

Clicking on the mouse's right button from Windows Explorer you can encrypt 
files. To decrypt files, double click from Windows Explorer.


In addition, there is a security feature developed especially for the 
MS Office environment, which allows you to encrypt and decrypt MS Word, Excel 
and PowerPoint files. It creates two additional icons in the main menu bar 
within the respective MS Office applications:

"Save" - enables you to encrypt and save documents (to .skf) using a password 
         or Key (Smartcard or USB key). 
"Open" - enables you to decrypt and open documents (from .skf) using a password 
         or Key (Smartcard or USB key).
