New version of Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client makes user experience even more convenient through one-step authenticated access to Citrix-based applications

January,15 – Dekart has announced the release of version 1.01.5 of Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client, designed to deliver strong authentication of Citrix users using smart cards/USB tokens and biometrics while improving login convenience for the users. The new version features one-step authenticated access to Citrix-based applications, which allows users to automatically connect to the required applications once the insertion of the USB token or smart card is detected.

The new version of Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client provides even more convenient and cost-effective way to eliminate the risks of weak passwords for access to the Citrix applications and to simplify the password management. Each user is assigned a PIN code protected token that stores his ICA connection details. If the automatic connection mode is enabled, the user simply connects token to the computer and enters PIN to log into Citrix.

The use of the token or smart card guarantees a highest possible security. The product is easy to install and manage. When the token or smart card is removed, the user is automatically disconnected from Citrix server. One USB token or smart card may be used to store user credentials required to access different applications, eliminating the need for multiple devices.

Multi-factor authentication, which is an important for protecting enterprise information, complements the strong security already offered by Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server.
