Dekart SIM Manager 2.2 is released – new interface and improved SMS wiping feature


April 11th, 2008 – Dekart, the developer of innovative security and smart card management solutions releases Dekart SIM Manager 2.2 – a software tool for managing the contents of a SIM card and protecting the data on the mobile against accidental loss.

Version 2.2 of Dekart SIM Manager features a new graphical user interface, as well as an improved mechanism for importing the CSV files. The new version of SIM Manager also has a new SMS wiping feature that allows permanently deleting SMS messages, preventing the latter from being recovered.

Dekart SIM Manager offers convenience and peace of mind to mobile handset users, allowing them to easily backup their address book data to PC preventing those from being lost, delete and recover their SMS messages, change PIN/PUK codes, country code extensions and much more. This software solution is equally popular among the corporate users who are managing multiple mobile SIM cards inside an enterprise, as well as among the travelers who often have to take trips, hence switch to different SIM cards on their way.

Dekart SIM Manager works with any Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) in GSM, Nextel SIM card in Nextel, Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) in UMTS, or Removable User Identity Module (RUIM) in CDMA, regardless of the mobile operator.  The software works with any PS/SC compliant smart card reader and comes at an affordable price of $29 USD per license.
