To start work with Dekart Private Disk MultiFactor, you will need to perform the following obligatory operation - activate your electronic key. To activate your key, please, connect your Key to the computer and, in case the Key is protected, pass two- or three-factor authentication (enter the PIN code and present your biometric identifier).
Note: In case your electronic key contains data created by the newer version of Dekart Private Disk MultiFactor, the following warning screen will appear: "The data on your electronic key has been created by the newer version of Private Disk! Do you want to continue?".
Please, do the following:
If you intend to use the data stored on the key in the read-only mode (without changing this data), click Yes to continue work with the program.
If you intend to change the data stored on the key and further use this data with the new version of the program, then it could lead to possible losses in functionality of the new version of Private Disk MultiFactor. If you select to lose this new functionality, click Yes and continue work with the program, if not - click No and upgrade Dekart Private Disk MultiFactor (see Updating Dekart Private Disk MultiFactor).
