December, 8 - Responding to the growing market challenge, Dekart (www.dekart.com) made its popular Dekart Key Manager software available for FREE download. Dekart Key Manager is a versatile tool for managing USB keys and smart cards. With Dekart Key Manager users can securely backup their encryption keys and account data used to access encrypted documents or securely login to Windows machines, manage all information inside the smart card or USB token.

Key Manager creates a back up copy of the USB key or smart card and stores it in protected file. The protected file can be stored in a secure location. If the user loses the device, Key Manager will create a replacement copy from a back up. The user will not lose valuable data and access to protected resources.

Dekart Key Manager will decrease deployment and maintenance costs by offering an absolutely convenient way of managing the information inside the electronic keys.

Users of the following applications will find Dekart Key Manager invaluable in managing the application data:

• Dekart Private Disk Multifactor - a 256-bit disk encryption software. The smart card is used to store user's encryption keys to access their encrypted disk, as well as their fingerprint templates if biometrics is used to access the card.
• Dekart Logon - a software providing secure access to Windows machines. The Windows account data is stored on a smart card, which provides a fast and convenient login without the need to memorize passwords or lose time on multiple attempts entering long passwords.
