Dekart SIM Manager 1.09 released - edit and backup the mobile phone's data from the SIM/USIM card

April, 14 - Dekart (www.dekart.com/fr) releases version 1.09 of Dekart SIM Manager, a user-friendly program for GSM SIM card management. With Dekart SIM Manager users can easily manage GSM SIM phonebook data and perform timely backups in case of mobile phone loss or upgrade. With its remarkable features and import functions, Dekart SIM Manager significantly saves costs on managing contact data within small and large companies.

Users can easily edit and backup the mobile phone book entries without the need to type in using mobile phone's keypad. This can be achieved with a broad range of GSM SIM/USIM cards, including those with more than 250 phone-book entries.

What's new in version 1.09:

  • Significant GUI improvements, more ergonomic menu.
  • Ability to view GSM service provider's name, change and unblock PIN2, view last dialed numbers and fixed dialed numbers, view and edit own numbers
  • Ability to customize program's colors and background
  • Supports multilicence scheme to install and use the software in corporate networks
  • Improved support for CSV-files importing
  • Added French and Spanish language interfaces

    • contacts can be written in any character set supported by Windows. Local language characters are correctly displayed on the screen of your mobile phone.

  4. Scalability - The application runs under Windows 9x/ME/NT/2k/XP, while its ability to export/import CSV files allows you to use it with a wide range of software, such as mail-clients, PDA managers, address-books, etc
Dekart SIM Manager is a versatile software designed to suit the needs of both individual customers, looking for a fast and efficient tool for managing their contacts, and GSM operators, requiring such special features as possibility to view SIM serial number, PIN1 state, technical data of the phonebook, its memory size and the number of free entries.
