Running Dekart Private Disk as a system service

The Options tab of Private Disk's Control Panel allows you to configure Private Disk to run as a service. To do that, check the Run Private Disk as a System service.

If this option is enabled, you can mount the encrypted drive, then log off without quitting the program or dismounting the drive. This also makes it possible for an administrator to run the program as a service and mount a disk, leaving non-privileged users unable to modify any of the disk's settings.
