How it works
The flash drive is equipped with a portable mail client TheBat! and a disk encryption application – Dekart Private Disk. All the data you work with, including the email database, reside in an encrypted file. This file can only be accessed if the password is known.
Once the flash drive is plugged in – Dekart Private Disk starts and prompts you for a password. If a valid password is provided, Dekart Private Disk opens up the encrypted file which appears as a virtual drive (such as A: or C: ) in the system. As simple as that!
Note: the default password for the encrypted disk is "11111" (without the quotes); please do not forget to change the default password to a strong one.
Now you may copy and paste your files there, launch the mail client or any other applications you decide to install, and work with them directly from the flash drive.
